While on a 2000 mile roadtrip through MN and the Dakotas, we stumbled across this little gem! Hands-down our favorite hotel of the entire 2 weeks! Had we known this little slice of heaven was tucked all the way down in Custer, we would have rearranged our days to stay here a little longer. Everything was perfect! Perfect central location to visit the Black Hills and the parks. Very quaint
Our first trip to South Dakota made even more special with our stay at the cozy Bavarian Inn. Friendly, courteous and attentive staff. Our room had quality comfy beds, coffee, small fridge and microwave.. The grounds are lovely with a European fitness trail! Love the outdoor corridors adorned with flowers. The Feel Good Cafe is right next door for all your coffee concoctions and breakfast needs. It’s a perfect location for the historic Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park and more. It is a nice hotel with pleasant and helpful staff. Location was great. I do have two issues. First, there is no secured wifi available. Second, the walls are really thin and you can hear people all the time. Aside from that, a very nice place to stay.
