Dr. Bauwens replaced my left knee in Feb. 2016. I have had nothing but pain, swelling in the replaced knee area. I had gone back to Dr. Bauwens several times to no avail. I have no choice but to "live with" the pain, swelling of my left knee replacement by Dr. Bauwens.
My mom always swore by Bauwens so when I injured myself I went to him, after a failed Urgent Care assessment. The guy is extremely knowledgeable, knows what to look for, and is compassionate beyond belief. As I’ve had ongoing related problems I find myself fortunate to have him as a Doc.
He's a top-notch orthopedic surgeon who never rushes through appointments and takes plenty of time to listen to patients and then explain his recommendations & answer any & all questions before proceeding with any treatments. Highly recommend him!

I went to clinic. Told them I stepped in hole on golf course. Sean sent me to physical therapy without taking an x-ray of my foot. Ten months, still suffering, I went to ER who found that I had fractures in my ankle & foot. Have respoken to the doctor. It is not the ankle & foot. It is my back. I apoligize for my remarks. He is an excellent doctor.
Excellent doctor! He has been written up by many doctors. I was referred by my primary physician and thought the pain was coming from fractures in my ankle and feet. After reviewing scans, he let me know the pain was coming from my back.
Mr. Dr. Bauwens is an excellent surgeon. He repaired my severely damaged right shoulder so well that I returned to work in the construction industry in less than four months. Now it is a year and two months later and I am back to almost normal activity. I would recommend him to any person in need of orthopedic surgery. Overall, I give Dr. Dale Bauwens a five star rating! I just had surgery by him on my left shoulder 5 days ago and am doing great!
