Battle & Brew is Atlantas first Game Bar. Opened in 2005, Battle & Brew had a very modest menu, a few beer taps, and focused heavily on gaming. Now we have grown to encompass so much more. We pioneered Geek Trivia in Atlanta, and remain the hardest trivia in town. Honestly I'd love to give it 5 stars. But there are a few reasons that while small for me, are probably big for others. Just so that anyone seeing this won't have to go through a wall of text, I'll just go by listing pros and cons. Pros: + Good location (it's right off the exit of an interstate which is really good) + Good tasting food + great selection of drinks + Great atmosphere + Fun people to talk to there (while it's not specifically something offered by the establishment itself, it attracts a great crowd of people) + ... read more
Relaxed friendly atmosphere and a good selection of booze. I know first impressions are everything, but if you had a bad time on your first visit, DEFINITELY give it a second shot. I personally love the place and have left a happy man every time!
This place is HUGE! Clean, tons of gaming chairs and comfortable couches. The service was great, enjoying craft bees and playing multiplayer console games with friends. Also can checkout boardgames, play PC and classic console stuff. Will be back!
Last night was the first time I went with my friend. It felt homely and comfortable and a very relaxed vibe. The set up is nice, there food was A+. I recommend their triple triforce tacos with the apple pie (highly recommend it). Wish I got to play some video games, but it was still enjoyable evening. If you haven't gone through the tardis. Then just wait and see. I will be coming back again.
Came last night for some 90's trivia. I have never in my life had an experience like this. Being able to get my nerd on while also singing my lungs out to Pearl Jam and Seal while trying to remember moments from my childhood and screaming at/with my friends was great. Haha. Talked to another one of the guests last night and I think his description was pretty spot on. "Battle and Brew is a place where if you don't belong really anywhere else, then you belong here." Easily my favorite bar! Staff's super-friendly, food's awesome, great drink selection, and an atmosphere that can't be beat. And the gaming is pretty awesome, too. Would highly recommend to anybody!
Arguably the nicest place for a geek in Atl. Eat, game, be merry.
This is a wonderful place to marinate in all things Geek. The staff is top notch and super friendly, I've never seen someone who knows their way around a bar the way Nate does, the amenities and beyond awesome, the beer list and menu are constantly, VERY pleasantly surprising, and yes... the TARDIS is DEFINITELY bigger on the inside.
