Battle & Brew is Atlantas first Game Bar. Opened in 2005, Battle & Brew had a very modest menu, a few beer taps, and focused heavily on gaming. Now we have grown to encompass so much more. We pioneered Geek Trivia in Atlanta, and remain the hardest trivia in town. Dear new owner, I can't believe you hired back on an employee with a history of verbal assault and harassment to customers. You must have been told some grand dishonest stories by him! I think you should investigate further to discover why he was fired and what he did immediately afterwards with his access to the social media accounts. Terrible service. Went there for the first time and they were celebrating Harry Potter Day which I didn't know. So we walk in 30 minutes before the event starts and the first thing that lady said is your goint to eat yoy just have 30 minutes until you have to get out cuz we're having the Harry Potter Day and we need all the seats. The fact I can go to a place and play video games or board games, have decent to tasty food and drinks is awesome! Most of the times I have gone it has been relatively crowded. I think us geeks are so happy to have a place to call our own we forget that this is also a business.There is a strong need to have more organization a bit more like a restaurant or bar. Literally the greatest place on planet Earth, aside from a bounce house designed for adults with an open bar and your favorite bands all playing live. And a cheese fountain. And puppies. I've been going since they opened the Sandy Springs location and I've always enjoyed it. However, some of the staff is extremely unprofessional and at times, downright confrontational. The lack of overall management is apparent. The restaurant, gaming, cafe is all run individually and it creates a ton of chaos and ridiculous scenarios (can't seat us because we didn't book online reservations even though there are 5 open tables in the restaurant.
