Bath Fitters is a poor excuse for a company. During the installation in my home they cut the drain to short and off center plus there were two knife cuts in the overlay trying to correct the drain problem,this was found when I hired a plumber at my own expense . This caused water to build up between the overlay and the original tub. After calling Bath Fitters of south Windsor CT I was told I must have done something to cause it and they would not offer any help. Do not use Bath Fitters for anything in your home. I did my research prior to making a decision. It was scary reading reviews of several bath remodeling business---so many negatives and few positives. Notably good service experience When you call Bathfitters you will have a Salesperson out in seconds. We needed a bath/shower replaced to a acrylic shower. The cost Bathfitters quoted us was $ 5,437.00 for this job. We felt it was a little steep and recommend you shop around. Salem Plumbing supply was a third of the price for the same 60 inch base shower product without installation. Do the math.
