I have been taking my cars to bates for over 20 years. The only reason I stopped is because I moved to Florida. Now I have moved back to STL, I will be using them again.
Highly recommend this local business. I had a flat tire and flat spare and Rick sold me a tire that matched my others perfectly. Prices were reasonable and honest and service was quick.
I highly recommend this auto shop. I've taken several of my cars here, and Rick (the owner) is a real stand-up auto mechanic who will give you a fair price and great service! He's never steered me wrong, even with me being a woman, lol. He's always given me sound, honest advice and taken extremely good care of my cars. My whole family uses Rick and he is absolutely fabulous!! He is always very honest and we never have to worry if he is just telling us more then what is truly needed to be done on our vechicles. We absolutely refuse to take our vehicles anywhere else.

Terrific place. Convenient to my house, willing to take perform repairs on short notice when their workload permits, and they've never pulled any shenanigans with estimates or questionable "suggested work." Straight shooters who do what they say they'll do. Exactly the kind of place I want to do business with.
