They don’t come with a stocked truck. You have to pay a hourly rate to have the tech pick up what he needs. Buyer beware.
Little to no communication among staff. Unorganized. Not enough space here to go into our ordeal with them. Bottom line is we wasted time and money on this bunch.
They sent out a installer that was uninformed of what he was coming out for. The installer was supposed to perform a safety inspection. I received a bill for $180.00 and no safety inspection. I was told the safety inspection was $90.00. I disputed the charges with my credit card company. They lost in arbitration. The credit card company reversed the charges. Not good service, installer was an hour late and I had to call the company. The installer had to go get the materials from Home Depot costing me more money in time. Installer came back with no receipt, over charging me and the company wouldn’t give me a receipt showing the actual cost for the materials. The quality of work was below standard.
If using Bates for electrical work, make sure you ask about their call out charges first. We were asked to pay $115.00 just to have an electrician come to our address to see if they wanted the job or not. Then if they return it costs $230.00. Their pricing is very high beware of them.
