Quite possibly one of the worst dining experiences I've had in years. And the 22% service charge really makes it sting when the entire experience from walking in (and standing around waiting) until you leave (3 hours later) was absolutely awful.
Food was fine, service was slow and not attentive. We waited an hour after ordering to get our food. It wasn’t a complex order. Everything cost extra, for example, we asked ketchup for our $11 side fries, and it’s 3 dollar extra. They don’t tell you, you see it on the bill. Oh, there is also a 22% mandatory service charge.
Burger was a greasy mess. Frites were good, not a fan of the aioli. Service was poor
We loved both Bateau and Boat Bar - this is neither of those things. They might still be figuring things out, but the revamped menu was uninspiring. It seemed like they haven’t staffed up either, our waiter was being shadowed by the only other wait staff the entire time. The food was honestly sloppy. Had a lovely Friday evening dinner. Service was spectacular and so friendly. Could be best French fries in city and don’t sleep on the pork Milanese!
