Friendly service and a nice atmosphere
Been a golden bee hive member for almost a year now. My girlfriend and I visited the physical location today and loved it. Well worth the 3 hour drive! The mead tastes even better from draft and had all the flavors I love and enjoy from the membership. The other guests in the store were super friendly and made it feel like a small community. Erin was our meadtender and she was delightful, friendly, and hospitable. Aside from receiving tri-monthly shipments, we'll definitely be back to enjoy it in person!
Bittersweet. The Sweet: The apple pie mead was absolutely INCREDIBLE! The taste was an absolute "must have more" response. The Bitter: its unfortunate that the alcohol content is quite low. The bottle was too small and the shipping has soured my entire experience on the product. These 3 issues together will keep me from purchasing this product again. The label was on crooked and lacked excitement or dimension but I understand that's just marketing, packaging and can be fixed. $50 to ship that very small bottle w/nearly zero ... read more
