I am incredibly grateful for my experience with Dr. Basu. She is truly compassionate, patient, and deeply understanding. Shameful experience just trying to contact the doctor. Impossible on the phone. The web intake form defaults to http ( though thankfully the host is https). Worse though, Dr. Basu uses insecure email for confidential data! Doubtful of HIPAA compliance

Dr. Basu is very knowledgeable. She is patient and empathetic. She takes the time to make sure I understand and am comfortable. I'm glad that I found her to work with as a provider.

I needed a new psychiatrist because the one I had retired. There were no local doctors that could see me in less than 5 or 6 months. I kept searching and found Dr. Basu's practice. I was all right with the telemedicine option because I was already doing that with my previous doctor. I filled out the form online for the process to become a new patient. I consulted Dr. Basu about persistent insomnia. It was evident from the get-go that she is a great listener and a smart-as-a-whip diagnostician. She is also cautious about not over-prescribing. Highly recommend!
