I needed a new psychiatrist because the one I had retired. There were no local doctors that could see me in less than 5 or 6 months. I kept searching and found Dr. Basu's practice. I was all right with the telemedicine option because I was already doing that with my previous doctor. I filled out the form online for the process to become a new patient. I consulted Dr. Basu about persistent insomnia. It was evident from the get-go that she is a great listener and a smart-as-a-whip diagnostician. She is also cautious about not over-prescribing. Highly recommend!
Had a single session that seemed fine. Made a minor change to medication and scheduled a follow up where she didn't show up and claimed there were technical issues even though Array Health's portal shows that the health team is aware you are online. I followed up that evening for an urgent reschedule (being in the midst of medication overhaul) and Array Health followed up as well, but i did not hear back from her for 6 days after i had to follow up AGAIN. Dr. Basu is very kind and empathetic. Her compassion and humanistic approach allow you to feel comfortable and safe.
Dr Basu is kind and sympathetic and thorough. I found her to be easy to talk to, and her office is run very smoothly.
