We had an outstanding experience with Bassett Home Heating recently. Our AC was ineffective and we needed a new system and improvements. Communication was prompt and we were able to schedule the work pretty quickly. They did not just install a new unit. They enlarged the intake vent, added more vents etc. We are so pleased with how quickly our entire house cools down on the hot summer days. They completely cleaned after their work each day. Highly Recommend After two years of my gas fireplace not functioning, I called Bassett for an assessment. Prior to calling, I had been quoted in excess of $800, with nearly every component of the fireplace being cited as the cause of repairs. After no more than 20 minutes, Jiwon had: 1. John Bassett and his team are amazing! Quality work. They show up when they promise, they focus on the work and finish quickly. Also our crawl space is only 15” deep and they have completed two jobs for me. I would always recommend them! This is my new on demand hot water heater!

Excellent service call. Very professional, kind, and informative. Our furnace hadn't been maintained in a LONG time, so he really had to scrub at the burners to get them clean. They tested the controls and added sanitizer pellets to my condensation pump. The bill was appropriate and reasonable. All in all, I couldn't ask for a better service. Thanks for taking such good care of us, Bassett!

This is an experienced family-owned business that is friendly, capable and, importantly, reasonably priced compared to many of the HVAC companies out there these days that are owned by private equity firms. Those OTHER companies are always suggesting unnecessary, expensive repairs. Even if a repair was warranted, I would have the repair done by Bassett who would do it for a much more reasonable price.
