I haven’t been back in years…. I wanted medium rare and it was beyond “still Kicking”. I had many, many company business meetings in the back room as well as smaller ones in area by the bar… I showed them my RARE steak & they complained! Whiney actually….. I didn’t let them take it back after their “bitching” as I’ve worked in a Kitchen to pay for college…. NO WAY!!!!
We love going to Bass Street for special occasions. I always get the surf and turf, and the steak is so tender you can cut it with a fork! It melts in your mouth! I also recently tried their french onion soup and it was the best I’ve ever had. We truly believe they have some of the best steaks in the QC. Their side options(served family style) are all delicious as well. We enjoy their special for half priced bottles of wine on Thursdays and Fridays. Phenomenal food and service. Highly recommend!
This was on Feb 14th. I can not recommend this restaurant anyone. The 3 of us stayed at the Wyndom and we were told from the restaurant staff that they did not deliver to the hotel which the restaurant is attached to and the menu is in the room. We arrived at the restaurant at 4pm, opening time, and the staff told us that we could not stay, because we did not have a reservation and we could only get take out.
