We went fishing in the Everglades with captain Bill Boliek. In 5 hours on the water my wife and I caught at least 100 fish, saw multiple alligators, herons and other birds. The fish were largemouth bass, gar, and bowfin, peacock bass and other exotics. The captain is a lifelong local and has great knowledge of the nature, and the history of the area. He is friendly and helped make the trip fun. We wanted to catch a few fish, see some gators and some birds and relax. This experience far exceeded any that I have had with a gui... read more
Our captains name was Tim. He was flexible with the starting time. They normally start at 7am. We are down for the Tortuga Festival and asked to start a little later. He was more than accommodating. We met at 8:30. He brought live bait as we requested (we paid him for it). They provide all tackle but we wanted live bait so that worked out well. Fishing was awesome. Caught multiple large mouth bass and Cichlids. Saw alligators too. Overall, it was a great time and would definitely do it again. We highly Tim but I am ... read more
My brother and I had a great 6 hour trip with Capt. Bobby Kimble. Got into some good fish on a slow day. He worked hard, was very helpful, and a certainly someone you could easily spend 6 hours with on a boat! His 21’ Nitro is comfortable and well-equipped. We fished with shiners on Okachobee, but he chases other species like peacock bass on other waters. Look forward to fishing with him again. He was in touch the day before our trip, was at the ramp ready to go when we arrived, and got us back before the storm! All in all, ... read more
I don’t know if it was because it was Friday the 13th or because we brought bananas on the boat but our guided fishing outing only brought us little dinkers. We had a good time. I was thinking with a guide we’d bring in more fish and bigger bass 🤷🏼♀️. We fished with Captain Brett over at Sawgrass Recreational Park. I think the Brett felt bad, he ended up giving us an extra hour on the water, which was nice of him. It was a long way to drive from Sarasota and the airboats were all over that water.
I would highly recommend these guys if you wanna get the peacock bass marked off your list. My second time using this outfit and worth every penny.
