Having been here in the past, I was really disappointed today. Service was terrible, and the food was just ok. Shrimp and grits were not like I remembered. No sausage, and the shrimp had an old, fishy taste. I don’t recall ham being in the recipe as it’s not listed on the menu. The waitstaff was inattentive and we had three different servers. I hope today was just an “off day” for y’all.
We have been going to Basnights for years! The buffet was a wonderful option for Mother’s Day. We drove from Chesapeake that morning! Great food and atmosphere!
