Craving ice cream and hit this local Baskin Robbins. The ice cream was delicious (as usual) and apparently the issues in past with the stingy owner have been resolved. Met the new owner who took over this summer, he was pleasant and helpful. Also took home an ice cream cake and loved it.
I love Baskin Robbins ice cream, but DO NOT go to this Brodie/Slaughter location. The owner there is extremely stingy and a penny-pincher. The ice cream scoops at this particular store are currently about half the size as those at other locations. I have seen over the last year in particular that the scoops were getting smaller and smaller while the price is not. Today I went in to use my birthday coupon for a free scoop. My boyfriend and I stopped here for breakfast around 10:30am on a Saturday and they were moderately busy. By the time we left, there was a line from the counter to the door. I had read some good reviews from Yelp on this place so I decided to try it out. Personally, I wasn't that wowed, but my boyfriend really liked it.
