If I could give no stars I would. I went to pick up my birthday cake today that I ordered online and was told that my order wasn’t going to happen because the lady who makes the cakes is on vacation. How can you run a business like this?! Now I have to take more time to request a refund by calling the main number because the store couldn’t give me a refund since I place the order online. Absolutely terrible.
Worst experience
Went there to get an ice cream sundae for my grandmother, since those are her favorite. AFTER requesting a sundae and scooping the ice cream, the worker told me they were out of hot fudge. I asked if they had caramel and she said they were out of that too….she ended up putting chocolate syrup, which really isn’t the same. I get that stuff happens, but how does an ice cream shop run out of those key ingredients? And the way she handled it could have been better. She gave me attitude on the phone when I called to complain about my order that was wrong. People in CT are honestly weird. Bad experience in this state in general. Don’t hang up on a customer when they are giving you feedback about an order YOU messed up.
