I have gotten two carry-out orders from here, and both times I was BLOWN AWAY. The first time I just got a regular ole burger with fries. And the fries were “Weezy F Baby and the F is for Phenomenal” both times. The burger was A+ and for some reason, a surprise. The chicken sandwich was the best damb chicken sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. Host and Restaurant staff greeted us with smiles and were fantastic conversationalists. We felt at home and welcome to take our time enjoying dinner. Sebastian’s service was both personable and professional. The menu itself was the right blend of traditional and unique dishes, every other dish seemed to catch my eye. Our food came out hot and was delicious. Portions were large and with $4 draft night, we had an incredible experience at an affordable price. I will definitely be returning to Basil’s soon!
Edit (#3): I had pretty much written off Basil’s a few years ago because of terrible service, but there has been a noticeable shift in the past 1-2 years. The service has gotten so much better. The beverage menu is outstanding, and the food is worth the price. I appreciate the complementary focaccia. The $4 pint night on Friday is a steal for the craft beers they offer. I recently reached out to the owner to organize a private event, and they were responsive and helpful. Kudos!
Michelle was our server back on July 20 when we were traveling through. She was awesome and very attentive. We were wanting a drink from the bar but not the standard drink in the menu. She called Sebastian the bartender He was awesome also. He mixed up a drink that was delicious. I had the homemade chicken Alfredo, he had the spaghetti with meatballs. Chefs Kiss for both.
