The Truth About Basilico If you look at all the reviews you'll see that that 99% are "smashing" and very positive. Basilico is a "fabulous Italian restaurant. The Baked Clams are some of the best in Chicago & the surrounding suburbs. The menu has incredible pasta & fish selections. Best food and amazing ambience
love love the seabass on angel hair, the scampi with garlic sauce. Appetizer the fried calamari melt in your mouth. I can go on and on.

I’ve lived in this new 30+ years and have never been here before. The best Italian food I’ve ever had.
Had another amazing dinner there with our nieces! The food is outstanding! Spectacular table service. We had such a good time there we forgot a bag under the table, but the wonderful staff had saved it for us and we are grateful it was returned to us! We drive all the way from Barrington,Il. It’s the best kept neighbored secret restaurant! Can’t wait to return!
