We had 6 for dinner, and we were blindsided by their rule that 6 or more are FORCED to pay 18% tip. It was completely OFFENSIVE that they DICTATED the amount of tip we had to pay and put it right on our bill. We felt it was underhanded!!! We have spent thousands of dollars at this place over the past 3 years. WE WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!! They force people to pay what they dictate for tips because it is on the menu??? There were may times we tipped more than 18%, but it was OUR CHOICE!!!

We have been going to Basile's for almost 10 years now and have NEVER had a bad experience there. The food is always great, the waitresses are very good, and they take care of us. This started from day one. If you have a bad experience, just tell the boss. I'm sure he/she will be happy to remedy the situation.
