RecommendedWe've never been disappointed at Basil's Café. Such delicious exotic flavors ~ There's really nothing quite like it in the Fox Valley
I was hoping to like this place based on the reviews. My kids and I ordered four entrees and a few drinks. Everything was watered down. It just had a bland/plain taste. I grew up eating this kind of food and it’s not authentic. However, the service was good.

Horrible hours. I would go far more frequently if they didn't close so early and take week/month long vacations. I understand this is to give staff a 'break', but it can be extremely frustrating to someone who wants to patronize your business.

RecommendedThey are so good! Service was a little slow, but I think they like it that way because they want it to be more of a dine and chat not a dine and leave place. They do not have a kid's menu, but they do have half orders of rice, egg rolls, and other options!
