Jeff and his staff were amazing. I am beyond happy with my new gas fireplace. The unit looks beautiful and I have received many compliments on the fireplace. Jeff has an amazing selection and was very personable and professional from start to finish with the project. He also recommended Fundamantels for the mantel, which came out stunning. Buying and installing the fireplace was excellent. BUT, if you need service , Good Luck. Basic Energy does not have a service dept. Jeff hands you a business card of a private service company. This company wants $179 just for the service call. All parts and labor are extra. You can end up with a service charge of over $400. Your best bet is to go on you tube. It took my husband two hours, but he fixed the problem and saved alot if money. Jeff, you should really have a service department, or at least, offer a service ... read more
