Dr. Bashar does not listen to the patient nor even look into their history to understand current issues. He is extremely dismissive, I asked him to request my records i which I have diagnoses and he did not,I ended up getting my own records and bringing them to my appointment and even then he gave just a quick look. I had to reason with him to do some testing on me and my current issues . My procedure was rescheduled by the facility several times which made me unhappy. However, it proved to be an Awesome blessing because I was reassigned to Dr Qumseya. Before even meeting him, I was “Wow’d” by his extensive knowledge, skills & abilities, plus published papers. In person, Dr Qumseya was personable and witty. He listened to my unique concerns and most importantly, brought his A game. If I could leave zero stars I would. He has zero compassion, zero bedside manner. During my fathers appointment he claimed to not have "time" during his scheduled appointment time to read my fathers history. If you are looking for any sort of solution for your gastric issues, I recommend you stay far away from this arrogant, rude, and poor excuse of a "doctor". It's especially disheartening to see this type of behavior coming from a hospital who claims to be ranked one of the nations best.
Dr Qumseya is great. He takes the time to explain everything and has a genuine heart to help.
