My experience with Basements and Beyond has spanned over 9 years and I’ve had nothing but superior customer service with complete attention to my needs. They have honored their lifetime warranty on two separate occasions. If I were to need an additional remodel in the future I would definitely go to B&B again. Just recently had an issue with a sump pump and Juan, their construction foreman, personally came out and installed the replacement himself...and told me “once a B&B customer always a B&B customer”.
Hiring Basements and Beyond turned out to be worse than I could have imagined. I would not be writing this review if the issues and responses encountered were not so shocking. This is my account of my opinion about the experience. Basements and Beyond recently completed a basement digout on our 115 year old house. Our lot made the logistics of digout especially complicated and we were very impressed by the team that did the work. The craftsmanship is superb and the completed pace added significant value to our home.
They may do good work but whoever driving their company truck, plate 322-PQQ that passed multiple vehicles on a two lane road, at well over 70mph in a 40mph construction zone on the west side frontage road between Castle Rock and Larkspur sure doesn't care about the public image of their company.
We had our basement finished by Basements & Beyond in the Fall of 2015. We interviewed five companies to do the job - B&B's estimate was a bit higher than some of the others, but only because they do a fantastic job of estimating everything you will need during the project. Little details really add up in terms of cost, which after reviewing competing estimates we discovered they did not account for at all. B&B finished our project ahead of schedule and right on budget. Basements and Beyond has been a wonderful company to work with around our basement project. We had several non traditional rooms that we were doing including a rock climbing room and a room with an endless pool as well as traditional rooms too - needless to say- a lot going on! Working with Wes and Rachel during the design process has been invaluable. The staff at Basements & Beyond are friendly and professional. They listen to what you are looking for and offer their helpful input as well. They did a great job on our basement! Definitely a company we will use again when the time comes.
They were very professional in all aspects of their work. They provided accurate time and cost lines and the subs worked efficiently and cleaned up after themselves. B and B was happy to accommodate some unusual requests.
