I think the Basement Tavern is delightful! It's quite the surprise when you enter the Victorian and see the beautiful chandeliered bar off to the left while following the hallway with its Victorian wall lamps to the Basement Tavern's stairway, then go down the steps, turn the corner. and...wow! It's a whole different world down there with a very nice bar, a "private" glassed in area with comfy cushioned seats for those who want to enjoy watching sporting events, and a bandstand with a dance floor in front.
