Our basement was just concrete and exposed framing for like six years, one of those things you keep saying you'll get to eventually. This project had been on our list for probably two years before we actually did anything about it. The basement was technically finished when we bought the house but everything was dated - drop ceiling tiles that were sagging, carpet that smelled weird when it got humid, paneling from like the 80s.
