RecommendedGreat experience today at the Basehor Veterinary Clinic. Due to the virus they picked our pup up at the curb and took her to give her shots and a health checkup. The staff was fantastic and Dr Alvested called and explained everything to my wife who was in the car waiting. My wife said the Dr and staff were super. We’ve had a bad experiences at another clinic with staff and Dr’s being rude with our old dog so we have found our new Vet Clinic. Thank you for the outstanding service.
Dr. Kelly Vader Lightfoot is the heart and soul of this clinic. She cares for each and every pet as if it were her own. Wonderful staff and a caring environment. We are fortunate to have such a great veterinary team available to us in Basehor Veterinary Clinic.
This is a wonderful clinic! In fact, we drive 20 minutes out of our way (with cats who all hate cars) just to come here. Everyone is very attentive, the doctors address all questions (trust me, I always have a lot) and I feel extremely confident with the care my cats are given.
We love this clinic. We followed Dr. Swanson out here and are quite pleased. He has taken exceptional care of our dogs over the years and will continue to stay with him. The staff is friendly and we highly recommend Basehor Veterinary Clinic.

Words can’t describe the absolute feeling you get when Kelly gives you info about our cats. I would take her knowledge to Vegas and make a killing. What she says is a fact and I know our pets are getting the without a doubt best care in the world. AND she is EMAW! The best Vet school in the country!!!

We love this clinic! Dr. Alvested has been FABULOUS with our Riggins! We had only ever had to come in for routine vaccinations and the like, but our last trip in was because Riggins wasn't quite himself. Dr. Alvested prescribed some meds and I just got off the phone with the receptionist who called to check in on him!! I wouldn't think of trusting anyone else with him!! Thank you all!!
