I have recently purchased a pair of glasses from Base Curve Optical and am absolutely delighted. Lucija suggested a beautiful frame, hand crafted Japanese, which I just love, and was very enthusiastic about the Rodenstock lenses. I was a bit ho-hum as I thought a lens is just a lens. Not so. The staff were friendly and professional. I required new lenses and their assistance in choosing new frames was really helpful. I chose to add transition to the new lenses which is great when going outside and not needing to swap into sunglasses.
Lucija is exceptionally professional, knowledgeable, kind and caring. I can not fault her service and attention to detail. The multiofocal lenses she provided were truly the best I've ever had and the second I put them on it was like I'd had them forever, like putting on the most comfortable pair of slippers. The frame selection was also brilliant and I am now wearing the most comfortable frames with these awesome transition multifocal lenses. I won't be going anywhere else! Thank you Lucija!
I can't recommend this team highly enough. I needed special lenses as an artist and art teacher which Lucija was able to organise for me. I was also able to get them repaired and totally covered my medical insurance. This business is not about transactions but about helping the community and caring about individuals needs. Top class service and top class care!!
A belated review. Two years ago I bought my frames and lenses from Base Curve in Sandringham. Lucija's service was extremely kind attentive patient and friendly. Some weeks ago I broke the arm of my frames and promptly went to Base Curve on Saturday afternoon only to find the shop was closed. When I was walking away from Base Curve, Lucija who had been in the dress shop next door called out to me and took me into her shop well after businees was closed for the weekend.
