do not send anyone who needs personal attention. My 95 year old mom broke her hip. she sat on toilet 15 minutes waiting for assistance to get up. she was ordered when she will shower and forced to go to dining room for meals. told she will do what they say. very, very, short staffed. and for this we paid $205 a day. no medication given upon her discharge which means no blood pressure medicine for an extremely high blood pressure 95 year old patient.
Offering services that don't exist. Very poorly managed, can't find management when requested, Call & leave messages that were never. returned. Cannot accommodate clients with special needs diets. Recently updated phone system that is to complex for elderly & memory challenged. A comedy of errors. Treat clients as children with staff telling paying clients what they will do, not asking them politely. RecommendedBartram Lakes was one of the first senior communities I visited and toured back in 2016 when I entered the senior care profession. Over the past three years I have seen Bartram Lakes become the innovative leader of "Elderhood" with the Green House model conceptualized and brought forth by Dr. William Thomas as described in the Bartam Lakes website. Take a tour with Danielle McGrath and see a brighter future for your loved one.
This is specifically regarding The Greenhouses. It started off well and ended horribly. If your loved one doesn't just sit in front of the television, this isn't the place for them. I heard the staff make homophobic remarks about how a male resident was eating a banana. I watched as the staff played solitaire and shopped online. Would not recommend this facility to anyone!!!! Their communication is horrible! Was very disturbed when we found out that mom pulled the emergency pull sting in her room and also hit the button around her neck and no one responded for over an hour. Then to speak with front office and to hear them tell you "Maybe moms pull string doesnt work in her room" WHAT???? Yea that is what i was told before they went and verified that no one responded.
