I am personally in utter shock at the phone call I received from the office of Bartonbrook. We manage a property next door to them. She was calling to inform me that my residents are using her driveway for egress and ingress. I appreciate the call so that I could kindly correct my tenants. However, her demeanor towards me, was extremely unprofessional and rude. Worst landlord I’ve ever had. Their properties are unsafe living environments and violate many housing laws yet they are able to get away with it due to the Ann Arbor housing shortage. They never fixed many issues and continue to max rent to unknowing new college students every year which allows them to get away with it.

No place like bartonbrook
Staff isn’t very friendly, ran into problems with downstairs neighbor and they always took his side without even trying to listen to what I had to say since I was a new tenant. Never quite ever felt at home there. Charged me $300 for 3 cheap blinds that cost $20 each that were slightly bent even before I got there and charged me for the carpet to be replaced in every room, which seemed unnecessary since everywhere else has always just cleaned it.
