Over several years, the Williamsburg VA team has helped us manage our landscaping. During this time, they helped rescue three major trees. One was a hawthorn that was knocked down during one of our classic nor’easters. After I righted the rather large tree with a set of come-alongs, they provided root treatments which took a couple years to heal the damaged roots, and now the tree is in full health. Dan Lonergan of the Williamsburg VA Bartlett Office recently led a team in cabling a large hackberry tree in our public Arboretum. They demonstrated all their tools first and had an on-ground team explaining what they were doing to a fascinated crowd. We have since taken pleasure in pointing out the cabling to other visitors to our garden as an example of the marvels of arboriculture. Many thanks.
