Last week I had Barthuly install an irrigation system in my yard. I could not be any happier with the entire process! From the beginning with the estimate with OB, to the final installation and startup with *****. I got 4 estimates and none of the other three were as organized and as professional. The install crew were very friendly and tidy with their work. Though they werent the cheapest, you get what you pay for. I would happily pay their cost again in a heartbeat. JIM C - beware of this company for overcharging and price gouging. I had a small PVC screw that was leaking and needed replaced. The part had to cost less than $1.00 Instead the technician said he was going to take care of me and proceeded to do some other work that was not necessary. I get the bill for $183.00 literally for $1.00 in parts and labor approximately 20 min. I had a similar experience in the spring when the came out and wanted me to exchange most of my sprinkler heads because they said the were cracked. Only one... read more

In June of this year, the customer contacted us because he had a sprinkler head that was leaking water badly. We found the head the customer told us about and replaced it. As a courtesy, we inspected the rest of his system and found multiple sprinkler heads that were also leaking badly, as their seals had worn out. This causes as waste of water and costs homeowners more money on their water bill than necessary. We informed the customer of this and gave him an estimate to replace the heads. This last summer hired Barthuly irrigation. For business and residential it was the worse experience I have had with a company. Would not recommend them under any circumstances. 3 months of trouble .
Business response:
This customer hired our company to work on four different properties. Two of the jobs were able to be completed quickly. The other two were delayed, twice, due to complications we were faced with on other projects. Our communication with this customer about the delays was, admittedly, not in keeping with the professional standards we have in place. We missed our mark in communicating with this customer.
After doing research for irrigation,we decided to hire Barthuly. What a wonderful experience it was. We have an irregular yard with neighbors close by on each side. After the system was put in place, we were walked thru the Rainbird system thoroughly, on how the sensor works, how to set zones, etc. Our technician walked the yard with us and set each sprinkler head exactly where we wanted it and made adjustments as necessary.
