Came with an issue under the hood. The car had a loud rattling noise. Within 30min I was in and out. Turns out it was a small issue and they fixed it right away. I like that they didn't try to disguise it as a bigger issue and try to up charge me. I've been coming here for a while and I always have an amazing experience.
Prices beat the dealership with more readily available appointments. Dyllon, the manager, is down to earth, listens, and understands. Him and I were casually discussing how we use our truck primarily for towing our camper and he took that information to recommend we have certain things checked on our truck sooner than recommended. We are only at 20k miles now and he wasn't "selling" services to be done right now, but recommending things to have checked early in the future, some not until 50k miles. I went in for a routine oil change and was told it needed stabilizing bars. Then a turbo charger. Then struts. Almost $14000 for an 11 year old car with 141000 miles on it? I’m not sure what happened but the overall experience, at all stages with Bartells, left me wondering if I was taken advantage of. If maybe they initiated the issues. I drove my car in fine. I left after “only paying” $2800 and barely got my car back home.
I’ve taken my car to this location for 4-5 years basically since I’ve had the car. I travel to this specific location an hour from where I moved (I used to live 5 min away) because I trusted the team and like the people I work with. This past time I took my car I was told everything was fixed and that I should be all good that was 4/24.
