The experience was ok it wasn’t that great
I had a very bad experience at this pharmacy today. I have been coming to bartells for my medication for years. The pharmacy staff is usually knowledgeable and helpful. Today I was scorned and treated very poorly by the pharmacist named Ni. When I came to pick up my medication today, I was told that my insurance would not cover the cost because it needs a prior authorization. 20 minutes to find one prescription? This is probably the worst bartells pharmacy. I had to transfer back because the best one was being closed. It is now closing because RiteAid couldn't manage their stores. CVS replacing at end of month. . Going to miss the Bartel's chain. For some reason the gal at the check out cannot get the transfer of clients to the pharmacist on the phone. almost impossible.
I wish I could give zero stars. My doctor sent a prescription to this pharmacy on Saturday. When my husband went to pick it up on Sunday, they told him they couldn’t fill it—but didn’t explain why. Assuming it might be an insurance issue, I had my doctor reroute it to Walgreens. When I went to Walgreens, they informed me that the medication had already been filled at Bartell on Saturday and therefore couldn’t be refilled. I returned to Bartell, and they kept denying it.
