Sadly this Store is on the latest Rite Aid bankruptcy closure list. Will be closing in weeks if not days.
Bartels has always been my favorite of drug stores. Used to be locally family owned. Shelves always stocked well with goods. Plenty of Washington made products like applets n cotlets. Since Rite Aid bought em, they haven't been the same. They let shelves go bare and products I like are not there at times. Have to wait for things to be ordered by pharmacy because stock is limited. Jack is the manager here, and I found him to be very friendly and helpful. Sadly, this store has issues with the homeless and addicts, which is a challenge for employees. Jack remains cheerful and sunny. His employees sing his praise too. Kudos. I hope he stays in my neighborhood for a long time, and I will choose this drug store over the competitor a few blocks south. :)
At first my 2 prescriptions co pay was $163.00. I asked the technician if there was a way to make it less. After a few minutes she came back with a $60.00 copay. No other pharmacy has ever done this for me. Thank you I am glad I switched.
