It was Dr. Alesnik who advised me what my actual heart situation condition was and what needed to be done - a quadruple by-pass open heart surgery. He performed it very well and I only needed to spend one week in the hospital. At the follow up exam 2 weeks after the operation, he indicated to me that I had healed better than he expected for 2 week post-op.
Dr golino comes in and talks for dr alesnik . Tells us how great my dad will do with open heart even though he had lung surgery 10 months ago . He failed multiple test before under going surgery for half of his lung removed. Then says hes healthy he can under go open heart surgery . 5 days later he died . He says maybe two words when he came in .
I wouldn’t give any stars if I could. I had a cabgx4 in April 2024 and all graphs failed by June 2024 so had to have 3 stents placed instead. Never even met this surgeon before the procedure. Never again.
Terrible. This dude has an attitude and an anger problem. I heard him chew out another staff member. To say that he has poor bedside manner is an understatement. Don't be mean. (I'd use more choice adjectives and verbs, but this website won't let me).
I will start by saying Dr Bartek is seemingly a fine surgeon. My issue is not with is ability, but in his not accepting my husband as a patient even though he has operated on him once before. We were initially with Dr. Jarrah and while my husband was in skilled nursing in-house care, they scheduled a procedure with Dr Bartek instead of Dr Jarrah by mistake. He wouldn't listen to any of our concerns. There was no explaining of the f/u post-op. And seemed bothered to have questions asked during a f/u appointment that I had to BEG to have scheduled because he was "too busy" according to his staff. Overall a really bad experience - has no compassion, bedside manner, nonchalant petulant attitude.
Dr Jarrah was exceptional in treating me for my aortic aneurism! He and his office assistants/nurses were extremely professional, personal and supportive through my entire pre and post-operation. Very accessible, returns your calls and listens to your concerns!!!
Near death now fine. Life extended many years because of him.
HIGHLY trained fellowship. Saved family members life when very few surgeons could have. His ability to explain things is good and his caring about his results is obvious.
