Barstow House is truly a gem. Visiting one of our favorite restaurants has become a ritual for my husband Grant and myself not only for their remarkable food and affordable prices but also for their outstanding service. The menu features an array of Italian dishes and mouth watering steaks seasoned and cooked to perfection. I suggest anyone visiting the Barstow House save room for one of their scrumptious desserts.
It was very good. Prices are very reasonable for casual finer dining. Our server Lauren was awesome. I had Chicken Parm with spaghetti which was excellent. Wife had Broccoli and Chicken over Fettuccini which was also very good. Portion sizes are large so we took home about half of dinner and had it the next day. One of our favorite places for special outings. The Barstow Bread is incredible. Never had a bad meal there. The only thing they lack is a full bar, but the wine selection is very nice. Quiet, small dining room, so you have to be conscious that most of the diners can hear your conversation. Portions sizes are perfect - you get more than enough, but it's not overwhelming. Last visit I had the shrimp alfredo - so good! We will see them again for the next birthday or anniversary.
Excellent service and food was delicious! Definitely will be back again!
