We are a low-cost, full service veterinarian. We have been in this location for over 40 years and have recently changed owners, thus improving our quality of service. As always we strive to ensure your pet has the best care at a reasonable cost. We specialize in general surgery, dentistry, radiology, vaccination, and orthopedic surgery. On site we have a pet motel for all your boarding needs.

We called this place at 5:15 with a dog that is throwing up. We are traveling through town, 6 hours from our home vet. The person who answers the phone tells me “Dr is leaving at 5:30 - call ABC animal hospital”. I did. They close at 5:00 so no answer. I immediately call back and tell them this and she says “Dr just left sorry” and hangs up the phone. This is their level of concern for a sick animal. SHAME ON THEM

After friendly service and easy scheduling over the phone I brought my kitten in for an exam and a spay - they were direct with explaining the procedure and prices - which I appreciated. The staff was very friendly and kind, and I felt comfortable leaving my kitty in their hands!
Today i brought in my dog since she broke her back leg last night. It turned out to be a compound fracture and the doctor and staff were willing to negotiate with me to help my dog. If it wasn’t for them I don’t know what would I have done with her. They helped out a lot since My family doesn’t have a lot of money. They are big time life savers and I am thankful for that.
The vet techs were amazing in the last few weeks with our Tank. They were caring and compassionate as we said goodbye to our old boy.
Barstow animal hospital is by far the best vet clinic in Barstow! Took my daughter's puppy in to get treated for mites and the Dr was caring and he took his time to answer all my questions . & every time I went back for treatment Tori the nurse went above and beyond to make sure our puppy was comfortable. The facility is clean and the staff is welcoming.
Traveling though the area and they got us in right away. Good experience :)
Barstow Animal Hospital is amazing! My family has been going here for years, with Dr. Reddy. Now, Dr. Bell has won us over, she alway has the best interest of our animals at heart and knows if a case needs to be referred, she follows up if the case is transferred to ensure our animals have the best care possible. Thank you for all the wonderful care you provide our animals with.—update—Dr. Bell is no longer at Barstow Animal hospital, we personally loved Dr. Bell and are now seeing her at ABC animal clinic.
