In July, 1968 Barry's Trailers started serving the Sarasota area as one of Florida's first business' specializing in just trailers. The business started out and has continued to be the Fasold's family owned business. Betty and Barry started the business out of their home while raising a family. Their children grew up developing knowledge of trailers, parts, sales and service. Today Betty and Barry are able to enjoy the fruits of their years of labor. Trailers and parts They sell both trailers and parts. They have limited hours. If you work it is almost impossible to use them, because they close at 4:30 pm and I do not think they are opened on weekends. They are the only place around that sells trailers and parts. The price are very reasonable.
Resolved This has been resolved! :-) If you decide to use Barrys (Or any mechanic) make them give a WRITTEN ESTIMATE that states the cost will not go over a certain amount.
Professional Installation? On Oct 22,2010 I brought my 2010 Lexus RX450h to Barry's to have a trailer hitch installed. I researched the installation guide prior to scheduling the installation and it seemed easy enough with no big modifications to my vehicle. After returning home after the installation, I noticed they hadn't replaced the appearance panel under the car. The 2 fasteners and rivet style fastener were not replaced and that left the wheel well liner unfastened to the frame. I returned to Barry's and talked to one ... read more
