Overall unimpressed and won’t be going back. I attended as a guest and never got an email asking to create a profile. When I arrived 10 minutes early they asked me to make one and 5 minutes before the class the instructor said he didn’t have time to walk me through/do an intro. The room smelled awful- like dirty socks. Since I wasn’t given a proper walk through, I had no idea what was going on the first half of the class. A very good Morning class 🫶
Although I haven’t actually stepped foot inside this gym, I have to say—I’ve never seen anything like it. I’m in San Francisco for a work event and took a very early morning walk through the neighborhood… and the energy outside Barry’s stopped me in my tracks. People weren’t dragging themselves in—they were excited. Smiling. Almost buzzing to get inside and work out. Whatever they’re doing in there, it’s working. It’s rare to see that kind of enthusiasm around fitness at that hour. Honestly, it made me wish I lived here.
