I was looking forward to my consultation with dr Miskin but he cancelled me with one day notice and offered another appointment in three weeks. I might be dead by then. Not good or respectful. They won’t even put you on a wait list for cancellations because there isn’t one. He’s on vacay! There are plenty other surgeons in the area. Go there instead. I have.
His surgery was life saving after I was admitted to the ER. His Professionalism, Concern, and Surgical Expertise are second to none. He follows up afterward to insure all is well. He deserves 6 stars plus.
Dr Miskin is a very easy Doctor to speak with. Straight forward discussion of Preop , surgery and what to expect postop. He did a great job with robotic surgery. I had a Richters hernia which was a challenge by laparoscopy but everything went very well I was up and around immediately after surgery with not needing narcotic pain meds. Dr. Barry Miskin is the most dedicated doctor who has a great sense of humor that I have every come across in 77 years. He has an extremely friendly staff and his appointments run on time. I needed a very complicated surgery, and the outcome has been much better than I could have ever expected. Dr. Miskin had me follow up with him starting on a weekly basis to ensure proper healing from my surgery. Dr Miskin performed two unrelated surgeries on me in a 3 month period. Both were uneventful with great outcome and recovery. Dr Miskin oozes confidence, compassion and a great sense of humor.
I will begin this post by saying I met with Dr. Miskin and he was an attentive surgeon and walked me thru the procedure very well. However, that is where the positives end. His office staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. There was zero follow up after my initial consult then when I attempted to schedule my medically necessary surgery a couple months later they tried to make me do another new patient office visit - my assumption to bill my insurance again. I had a great experience. Dr.Miskin did a ventral hernia repair , all went well . This was was a repair from a previous surgery done by a different doctor. The staff that work with Dr.Miskin was nice . I do recommend going to check them out .
I actually saw Dr. Zelnick in this office He is a fabulous doctor seems to be kind and cares about his patients. I recommend this office to anyone looking for a great surgeon. Thank you Dr. Zelnick For being so kind and patient with me.
Not a good experience. There are many kind, caring, sympathetic general surgeons out there. He is not one of them. So best to skip over this one.
