great pizza! Barros is a unique cool pizza joint. They have a big variety and good pizza. The prices are decent and average. The employees are friendly, and the pizza is always brought out fresh and fast.
Pizza Plus Barro's has a couple of stores around the Phoenix area and we like all of them. We've never been disappointed with their pizza, their service nor their price.
Barros Tempe This pizza joint is one of the best in town. We always order take-out from here. Their pizza is fresh and flavorful. No cardboard here! Their hot wings are also fabulous! My husaband and I are always searcing for family owned pizzeria's, and everytime we find one within weeks something ends up changing whether it's the sauce or chesse even the size of pepperoni. So far this place is great, they put just the right amount of sauce and chesse and lots of topping, the dough had a sweet taste which was awesome. We tried their pasta, that was alright. This is Pizza? – As a recent transplant from Chicago, I'm trying to find something resembling pizza here in the Southwest. Barro's isn't it. The crust is gummy and tasteless. The toppings while not too bad are pretty uninspired and don't have much spice. If you want something that comes close to 'Chicago Style', try Uno's or LJ's in Mesa.
