Yikes. Wish I could leave a better review, but my experience was just.. not great. First of all, I'm a woman in my 20s, and I feel like I definitely would have been treated better by this business if I were older. Jackie was very condescending and treated me like I knew nothing about gold and its value because I'm on the younger side. I knew things were going to go poorly from the beginning; I came in with three vintage rings, stating to Jackie "I have three solid gold rings in 9k, 10k, and 14k." Barrons is a very interesting place to shop. So many things to see! The people are friendly and helpful. Prices are good and the merchandise is truly unique!

It's not often that one finds a place full of unexpected surprises as vintage fountain pens from the golden age. I have visited Barrons jewelers for several months at downtown McKinney, and it is a great experience every time I am there. They always make sure that your experience at their store is a great one ... if you are browsing or looking for something specific. I would recommend anyone in downtown McKinney to take the opportunity to experience a visit at Barron's.
