I have anxiety when I go to the dentist. I was traumatized as a child by a dentist who kept telling me to “stop your shaking or you’ll get hurt.” Or “if you don’t stop shaking the freezing won’t work and you’ll feel pain” I was so scared of this dentist that when I got old enough I wanted another one.
