I was quoted a price over the phone for spray foam insulation. I asked if they needed to come see the house prior to the bid and they said no. They subbed out the job and the installer did a great job. But Barrier didn’t tell me I needed to vacate my house with the dogs for 48 hrs. The foam is pretty toxic until it dries and it smells toxic for about a week to 10 days. Barrier told me nothing. Then they sent me a bill for $1150 over what they quoted. Be cautious. We hired Barrier Insulation to spray foam our attic. They subcontracted BW to come to our house without us knowing and they did a horrible job. I couldn’t speak to any of the insulation people because of a language barrier and then they completely blocked off our attic access. Now neither company will take responsibility in fixing the issue.
