How can you have the best location in the entire state to build a high rise luxury hotel, condo, building and then let the property sit idle for so many years. It's clear the city/county needs to foreclose for back taxes and find a real development firm to take over. And any politicians who might be tenants of yours should be investigated for fraud, collusion, and any other RICO Act violations...
Pass the land onto someone else. The land where the Courture is now is prime. It is embarrassing for Milwaukee to have that big empty lot on our lakefront. Not to mention, the city pushed back the opening of the street car expansion for the Courture. Furthermore, the County will be on the hook of no development is built soon. For the good of Milwaukee, stop being selfish and either build the Courture or pass the land on.
It's time to put plans into action. The couture is holding up a lot of other projects. At this point either do the deed or give the land to someone who will.
