Today - After several renovations, our YMCA serves over 6500 members. We offer financial assistance to those in need. The YMCA strives to meet the needs of the community, and promote safe, communal, family oriented activities. Aside from being a gym with a state of the art Olympic size swimming pool we have two gymnasiums kids play zones and we even offer child watch for parents while they work out. Started coming to the Barren county family YMCA not long after they opened in 1992, I started I think in early 1993. I have lost weight “several”times here, lol, most recently from February 2017 until the present 126 pounds. Really enjoy the pool & weight room, and the friendly, healthy & Christian based atmosphere. Plan on coming back as long as I am able.
I am over joyed with the ymca we love it . Try all the new classes in the pool my kids love them .

The BC YMCA is a nice family oriented gym to attend whether you wanna workout or just hang out together in the pool area!!

Classes, instruction, a place for the kids, 3 different weight rooms, a pool... What more could you ask for??
Our family loves going! We usually play basketball, swim, and let the little ones play in the maze. They have a daycare, although we never use it! Lol We keep our children with us at all times! #FamilyTime
