The drinks, the food and the people are on point! Gotta try the cold fried chicken sandwich and the pretzel with horse radish and pimento spread! Oh, yum!
I had the best Rum cocktails. The ambiance was wonderful for a lazy evening conversation with friends. I enjoyed my visit at the Barrel Proof so much that I walked off and forgot my purse! Some lovely customer or employee turned the purse in! The owner made a special trip to the bar this afternoon to reunite me with my bag. I can't say enough about the Barrel. Without them I would not have been able to travel back to Michigan today! Outstanding drinks, vibes, and people!!! #barrelproof
This place is slow. The bartenders couldn't wait on a bus let alone a crowd of people. The only reason I gave one star is because I didn't have the option for no stars!!!! 45 minutes and no drink. We finally just left!!!!
I'll say this....it's highly unlikely I'll return...I waited OVER 25 minutes for a drink, which I never got, went back later to try it again AND again waited 45 minutes to get NOTHING! I'm sure the staff is friendly but this place needs more help!
