I am super excited. My husband found this place 2 weeks ago while I was working in Colombia. We live here, and moreover, not thinking in coming back. Anyways, he was walking around this place and found a cafe with the Colombian flag painted in the walls. He highly recommended me this place. Therefore, here I am! Coffee as original as the Quindio one! The girls are very attentive and well mannered. Also, we met the cook! Milena, smilie girl, authentic colombian style! Coming back pretty soon!
Great new coffee shop! I love the espresso and the atmosphere!
This cafe is incredible! Great atmosphere, delicious food and really friendly staff I'm graduating in three weeks and I wish this cafe had been around earlier; I would have come all the time
Barranquero Cafe is the type of coffee shop that State College has been missing. Anyone who has ever gone overseas and been to an authentic South American cafe will instantly relive that feeling upon entering Barranquero Cafe. Coffee is by far the best in town and their empenadas are delicious. Definitely worth checking out.
The employees are rude and not helpful. Coffee is terrible. The owner is awful. She thinks she knows everything. I hate to say it but you get better coffee and service at starbucks. Go to another local café, you will be much happier.
I teally enjoyed the iced coffee. My kids practically inhaled their empanadas, and it was easy to see why (oh, that sauce!) A charming space with a relaxing vibe. If you want to try coffee that is truly fresh and full of flavor, check it out.
What a cute place. The Empanadas are great and I love the environment. Perfect for State College.
Barranquero Cafe has a 4.6 star rating with 199 reviews.
Barranquero Cafe is closed now. It will open tomorrow at 9:00 a.m.
