These guys are the worst. I've dealt with several moves internationally and these guys are absolute rank amateurs in terms of moving, but professional con-artists in terms of getting money out of you. Don't be fooled by the slick marketing guy you deal with when trying to organise your shipment as once they have your cash is when the problems start. It took us a year to recover from the shock. We scheduled our international move with Baron 7 months in advance. They offered a low quote and the reviews didn't seem so bad. Two weeks before the move, the nightmare began. They changed the move date with very short notice, and I had to give my apartment back. We had to change our flight tickets and negotiate with the owner for some additional dates. They said they would send a container and sent a truck instead. Baron Worldwide moved my household internationally. (B133-233-21)The agents, staff, and movers worked seamlessly and it all happened without problems.They assisted every step of the way and always addressed my questions and eased my stress (which was pretty high at the beginning of the process). Lots of paperwork for source and destination countries was substantial but they walked me through it. I've had nothing but trouble with Baron from the beginning, but as my belongings get closer to me, the frustration has grown. The person handling my business seemed to only have the job of never answering my questions or knowing what was going on. When I asked her directly when the shippers were coming to my home to pick up my belongings, she said she didn't know, and then the movers arrived 5 minutes later. That is not an exaggeration. NOT RECOMENDED FOR INTERNATIONAL RELOCATION. They don't communicate internally with one another, every man for himself. They were asked by local agent to perform a detailed inventory list for international relocation and failed, they made a vague (handwritten) list that didn't even detail quantities or 1/3 of the items onboard. Encountered fines and problems in port, all because of poor communications and lack of support. Personnel then Refused to take accountability for their mistakes. Very disappointed.
