I had to take an appointment with Dr. Barnhart due to not having other options available at the time. I had a horrible experience with him, so much so that after my appointment I was extremely triggered and went into a 2 week depressive episode. I would have rather stayed averagely depressed and waited to see someone else. He shared very triggering intimate details about his family members, tried to relate to a place of severe trauma, and I felt as if he didn’t listen to me at all.
